Christmas is FINALLY Over

Well, Christmas is finally over at our house. We took the tree down last weekend. Only two weeks before Easter - not too bad. The trees in the kids' rooms are still up and the bins with the ornaments are still in the living room but at least the tree itself is back in the basement. Maybe we will actually get the ornaments and kids' trees into the basement this weekend.

But my real priority is to fix our sink. The trap under our sink rusted through. Some questions you may be asking are:
1. How did you find out it was rusted through? Because a coat hanger went through the bottom of the trap.
2. How did the coat hanger poke through the bottom of the trap? Because I was using it to get out a clog.
3. Why was Christy using a coat hanger to clean out the clog? Because I didn't want to use my hands.
4. Why wasn't Todd trying to clean out the clog? Because Todd causes the clogs (shaving) and I clean them out...

Zachary Zugg took out the rug, and Jennifer Joy helped shake it.
And Jennifer Joy she made a toy, and Zachary Zugg helped break it.
And some kind of help is the kind of help that helping's all about.
And some kind of help is the kind of help we call can do without.

5. What happened after the hanger went through the pipe? I took the pipes apart and got out the clog with my hand.
6. Where are the pipes now? In the landfill - Todd threw them out with the garbage the next day.
I hope to go to Home Depot this weekend, buy the right pipes, and install them.
