More Mouths to Feed

This is NOT an announcement that I am having another baby. This is a post about our new pets.

On Sunday we went shopping for new fish (live ones, not to eat) and I thought some of the black mollies were pregnant but then I read the sign at the store that said that they were "big belly" mollies. So I forgot about it. Until today, when I noticed baby black mollies. What a way to market pregnant fish - just call them "big belly" fish. I will never make that mistake again. We now have two huge algae eaters, fourteen other fish, and three baby snails - at least until the other "big belly" molly has babies.

Pets are much easier to care for than kids. We only have to feed the pets once per day, clean out their cage/litter box/tank once a week, and they put themselves to bed.

But kids provide much better entertainment - listening to them sing Hannah Montana or High School Musical songs over and over and over, sticking cheerios up their noses, using the ice dispenser as a step to reach the top of the fridge, turning the back yard into a mud slip-n-slide. The list just goes on and on. At least I am sure that I will never have a boring day.
